When filing documents she was constantly removing and replacing dozens of papers off a metal fastener, just to get to the one sheet she needed to copy or file.

In order to save time and preserve her sanity, Donna, who holds a degree in psychology, invented StrapEase Filing™, which allowed her to photocopy any sheet without removing it from the file. It took two years to turn her idea into reality.

In 1993, she received the Patent of the Year Award® from La Sierra University, School of Business and Management.
